Dave Mitchell General Manager

Dave has more than 15 years experience in Aluminium Fabricating of residential and commercial framed windows and doors and will be your contact for all technical matters. He has a wealth of knowledge to call upon and should you require a FREE measure and quote onsite, Dave will be happy to advise and assist you.

From the smallest job to the larger commercial jobs Dave will provide you with his experience and knowledge – Customer satisfaction is his number #1 priority.

Dave also manages a growing number of production staff and drives and owns a strong ethos of getting the job done properly and on time, every time.

Scott Edgar Production Leader

Scott works as a full time Production Leader, fabricating residential & commercial windows & doors to measure. He also assists customers who come into our showroom with questions or advice about spare parts or issues with their windows & doors. Scott is knowledgeable with all spare parts queries and should you need help, he will be more than happy to assist you.

Fred Nissan Production

Fred joined our team in late 2018 and has more than proved the quality of his work! His focus is on fabrication of screen doors and screens, however, he is also skilled in manufacturing windows and doors. His solid work ethic has led to increased efficiency in turn around times for screen doors. We’re grateful to have him and he is a valued team member.

Dallas Busbridge Production

Dallas joined our team in late 2021 and under the guidance of Scott, has risen to the challenge and proved his worth with the quality of his work! His focus is on fabrication of windows and doors. His solid work ethic has ensured he is a valued team member.

Martin Lindley Maintenance, Installation & Production

Martin is our ‘Jack of all Trades’ with extensive experience in maintenance, installation, fabrication of aluminium and timber products. He prides himself on doing the job right: first time, every time and he’s also extremely efficient. 

Damien Horner Maintenance, Installation & Production

Damo joined our team in 2021 and has since proven to be an asset and is a valued team member!  He has many years of experience in the trade and helps out with production on a regular basis as well. 

Mark Blake Maintenance & Installation

Mark joined our team in 2021 as a trainee.  He has proven to be a fast learner and is more than willing and capable to tackle any task at hand with enthusiasm & professionalism.  Mark is developing his skill set and is a valued team member.  

Julie Smith Customer Service & Administration

Julie is our newest team member and returning hero! After 8 years away from the business, we offered her a deal too good to refuse!! To our long term customers – if you remember her, come in and have a catch up! She has extensive experience in providing excellent customer service and provides a level of personalized service rarely seen these days. She has a great sense of humor and is a great fit with the team – we’re grateful to her for giving us another chance!!.

Wendy van Zyl Customer Service, Administration & Accounts Clerk

Wendy has more than 20 years experience in sales, administration & accounts. Wendy emigrated from South Africa and landed on Australian shores in 2017, and joined the team at SCWD in 2019 when she relocated from NSW to South Australia.  After taking an brief hiatus when the pandemic struck, she was welcomed back to the team in the beginning of 2021. 

Greg Davis Managing Director (Retired)

After a long and successful career owning and managing successful small businesses, Greg has finally earned the right to retire and play bowls whenever he wants! Greg is past President of the Victor Harbor & Port Elliot Lions Club and in June 2017 received the prestigious Melvin Jones Fellowship, recognizing his work for the Lions.
